Close but no cigar for Prince George!

This past weekend was tough for the expansion Prince George Fury as they traveled state side.

Matt Mehrassa continued his strong play on Saturday by scoring four goals and adding two helpers to finish the night off with 6 points but it wasn't enough as Tacoma won by the score of 10 to 8.

Prince George continued their road trip the following night in Wenatchee.

It was a back and forth game most of the night. Prince George took a 9 - 8 lead going into the fourth quarter. Wenatchee came out strong and tied the game with a goal by Garret Brown just over two minutes in. Wenatchee took the lead with just over six minutes left in the game on a goal by David Leon.

Mark Mehrassa scored his second of the game for Prince George at the 2:27 mark to tie it for the Fury but Elias Lopez scored a heartbreaking goal with 54 seconds left to give Wenatchee the 11 - 10 win.
